Signs of the Times II

A few weeks ago we asked you to submit your favourite funny, silly, grumpy or just plain weird London signs. We've kept these two back for the silliest day of the year, April Fool's Day. The first is from Rosie in North London…



Rosie writes… "Found this in my street in North London. It's a parrot cage left outside to be taken away. The reason that it is no longer required is written on the sign and it reminded me of Monty Python."

Us, too Rosie. Beautiful plumage the Norwegian Blue. Thanks for writing…

The second pic is from the merry pranksters at the Rising Sun pub near St Paul's – they were also responsible for the sign last year (sadly removed) warning that smokers were turning London's rats feral by feeding them nicotine via discarded cigarette butts…
